We recently delivered a lace top treatment on this MINT ’65 Ford Galaxy. This is similar to a job we did for another customer replacing the vinyl roof. The owner of this Galaxy just wanted to make this classic a little more special. The new top colors are matched to the interior. He’s really happy with the result. Stay tuned, we’re hoping for the opportunity to do some more work on this classic Ford.
New awnings have been added to the shop in Budd Lake. These awnings replaced the old green awnings which had frankly seen better days. The new awning matches colors and reinforces the Blue Sky P & R identity that you seen when you visit the web site and see us at car shows.. These new awnings were installed in May by Raul and his team at NG Signs in Paterson, NJ. Great job by those guys.
Hey, the new look makes Blue Sky P & R even easier to find. Why not bring your car by and see what we're all about?
Here is the 1967 Camaro SS that was featured here earlier when it came in. Now it is painted and will be delivered to the customer who will be doing the final assembly. He plans on hitting the roads this summer. The color is GM Admiral Blue with BMW Alpine white/Abalone silver pearl stripes. We cannot wait to see this car on the road.
Today, we're celebrating a couple of awards that went to a customer at a recent car show. You saw this car in our BLOG back on February 23. The car was already a head-turner when Joe, the owner, brought it to us. Blue Sky was commissioned to make some cosmetic updates to the engine compartment and new wheels and tires. The car was also re-badged to reflect the 455 engine that was part of an earlier update. It was delivered during the recent Blue Sky open house. Joe displayed it in the Park Ridge car show last weekend where it won its category, 1960’s, and also took BEST OF SHOW.
Congratulations to Joe on getting recognition for a truly unique and awesome vehicle. And thanks to Joe for giving Blue Sky the opportunity to work on it.
