Blue Sky Performance and Restoration® repairs, modifies, and maintains classic and performance vehicles. There is very little we can’t do and we are anxious to push into new areas and techniques. Whether it's Pro touring, resto mod, hot rod, auto cross, performance suspension or exhaust, we get it. We can also handle complex engine upgrades, turbo and superchargers; all with styling that will turn heads. We own the business and we've had project cars so every project is personal to us.
The mission at Blue Sky is to provide you with the most complete customer experience. You're not dropping your project off and picking it up 18 months later. You are involved in all the decisions so that you drive away in the car you designed. It is your project, so you drive the choices.
The technical leaders at Blue Sky Performance and Restoration are the owners. Big or small, the process revolves around you and your choices. In addition to our passion, we bring a combined 25 years experience in Pro touring, performance and restoration. Each of us had had at least one project car of our own so we know why you want what you want.
Jesse Barratt
Owner, Head Technician
Jesse Barratt is an owner and head technician of auto body shop at Blue Sky Performance & Restoration. Jesse eats, sleeps and breathes all things mechanical. He drives a Mustang Fox Body that he restored himself. He also drives a power boat when he's not working on cars. Jesse entered the business as a shop sweep in a collision shop and and went on to attend Pennsylvania College of Technology earning his degree in Collision Repair Technology. After graduating, Jesse began working at a restoration shop and has never looked back. He has a broad knowledge of many different genres, styles and options in the industry. This is how he can always come up with options for the customer to choose from. Above all, he must do it right whether it’s an OEM style restoration, performance inspired build or a wild custom one-off build - no short cuts. This isn’t a job to him, it’s his life.
Jeff Manzella
Owner, Head Technician
Jeff Manzella is an owner and head technician of the mechanical shop at Blue Sky Performance & Restoration. His first car was a 1990 Ford Mustang. After high school, Jeff attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology for automotive technology. Following his desire to work with classic cars, Jeff began working at a restoration shop as a technician and was later promoted to shop manager. In Jeff's shop, there is one "right way". He has restored cars from as far back as the 1920s, from numerous manufacturers. With that experience, there is very little he hasn't seen. In addition to restoration work, Jeff has completed numerous performance builds and "resto-mod" upgrades on modern cars. Jeff is usually the last stop for customers who can't find a shop to fix some problem that will not go away. From then on, he's the first, and usually the only, stop. Throughout his career, he has always insisted on delivering nothing less than what he would accept for his own car.
